Wireless and Power Line Energy Savings Indoor Automation
Convergence Wireless recently received a grant from the U.S. Department of Energy's Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory for its patented technology that delivers energy savings and demand response solutions. Demand response is the ability for facilities to shed energy consumption at the request of a utility or an electric supplier entity. Convergence Wireless is involved with the world's first Automated Demand Response project. Convergence Wireless has created the ability for an entire in-building wireless system or home combined wireless and power line based system to be auto-commissioned. This "auto programming" negates the need for installation personnel or configuration labor, significantly lowering the true cost of an indoor automation system.
