GOVERNMENT PARTNERS

The U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) and Convergence Wireless are collaborating on various multi-million dollar projects to deploy Site Sense Lighting™ (SSL™). The GSA manages 8,600 federally owned/leased buildings that represent over 354 million square feet of commercial office space.

Convergence Wireless has an ongoing partnership with the Department of Energy's (DoE) National Laboratory Advanced Building Technologies Group and Demand Response Research Center located in Berkeley, California (Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory). In Davis California, Convergence Wireless is working with the California Lighting Technology Center (CLTC) and is one of only four companies awarded licenses for their patented Daylighting Algorithms. The company is also a Charter Member of the newly formed OpenADR Alliance. (www.OpenADR.org)

Convergence Wireless will be delivering tailored solutions to the U.S. Marines as part of their TEN by '10 Program. An exciting program started last year to identify 10 things the U.S. Marines can do to reduce energy consumption. In addition, the company has been contacted by an innovative light fixture manufacturer that's pioneering a disruptive approach to office lighting for the U.S. Army.
